X and O
The games Ataxx, Checkers, Russian Shashki, Pool, Go, Tanbo, Quadrature
are in developing phase and X & O plays these games as a very weak player
There are three versions of the program:
- The applet version, compiled with JDK 1.1.x
- Has ugly interface
- Has not good performance
- Missed some features (as animation, sound, ...)
- But can be used by
any browser that support JDK 1.1.x (Netscape 4, IE 4)
without any plug-ins.

(Recommended)
- Has cool interface
- Has good performance
- But to run this version You have to
- or use browser with jdk 1.3.x support
(I don't know any current browser that support the jdk 1.3.x)
- or download
Java Plug-In
and use Netscape 3 or IE 3 and higher.
- The standalone version, compiled with JDK 1.3.x.
- This version:
- allows to read/write games from/to files
- use INI file to save game's attributes
- has database of games
